My work is an ongoing conversation with my perceptions of things and experiences around me, and how they manifest themselves in my studio. I have been producing clay objects for forty years, and as time goes on, I am always imaging the relationship of different foods and plant materials in my vessels or on my plates. The studio work is always exciting and gratifying, I am never quite sure what I will make until it starts to manifest itself. This work in particular talks about ritual and romance, there is a lot of luster with cool celadons and matt blacks which create their own kind of painting when in a group
